Link Building & Content Suggestions after Google March 2024 Core Update:

As Internationaseol.agency, we closely followed recent Google algorithm changes which once again confirmed our long-standing policy of natural link building. Here are the highlights of these algo changes and what they would mean for your site and also how it helped us optimize our work:

Scaled content abuse search spam:

Google now strongly advises avoiding the practice of creating bulk-produced content, whether AI-generated or human-written. Although it is not very clear what the details are, in our opinion, it targets sites which produce automated content that offers little contribution to the purpose of visitors, via AI and even by human touch. This could also mean deliberately using certain keywords to force more relevance to the search term or copying the content into various locations and circumstances with little revisions.

From our perspective, we also started to suspect that this new policy would be affecting sites that use automated translation plugins which tend to translate the content in bulk and without much value added. Although it is still early to say whether this algo update will affect those sites with auto-translation tools, we suggest you to contact us to help you with the localization of your website to humanize any translation you might have had.

Link Manipulation & Examination of Expired Domains

This shows Google’s growing commitment to fight against manipulative link-building practices, such as private blog networks (PBNs).

Avoid getting PBN links or links from expired domains which are repurposed solely for manipulating search rankings, even if the site seems to have high authority: Here as Internationaseol.agency, we always manually check each site we target to get backlinks for. Especially Ahrefs Organic Traffic is very important in terms of understanding whether a site might be considered a low-quality site with low-value content specifically created to link to a thirty-party website.

We will also soon revise our database of 20k+ sites in all countries that we partner with to get better links for you to eliminate sites which might be affected by recent Google algo changes. We will also manually check each site we target to get backlinks for your site to ensure it is not potentially classified as a risky linking site.

Scrutiny on Outgoing Links; Mitigating Third-Party Content Manipulation:

Site reputation abuse involves leveraging third-party content to manipulate search rankings.

This refers to the sites which clearly add content without much scrutiny for the sole purpose of giving a backlink to a third-party website, most probably due to selling links. It stresses the requirement that website owners must be careful when hosting third-party content.

This is something we always cared about in our link building efforts:

  • Creating content aligned with the hosting site’s theme. We don’t write content linking to our client about the client’s industry, we write it relevant to the hosting site’s theme.
  • Writing the content for the audience of the hosting site who should find it useful. We tend to think of striking topics that might catch the attention of the visitors of the hosting site.
  • We also add natural and authority backlinks to the content such as links of government or education institutions or big news media outlets. But we don’t force them into the content, we always make it very relevant.

Our main criteria in creating content for the hosting (or linking) site has always been: Think as if you are a Google quality rater and ask this question to yourself:

– Does the content scream it was created to force third-party links into it? We see many times how incapable link builders insert third-party links into content and it blatantly shows the whole content is created for the sole purpose of adding a third-party link. Such backlinks will jeopardize your long-term SEO goals.

– Does the content have any benefit to the readers of the hosting site? We always like to create content relevant to the theme of the hosting site so that its audience will benefit from it.
